Pumpkin
Pumpkin (Cucurbita spp.) is a rare allergen but may trigger oral allergy syndrome (OAS) in birch pollen-sensitive individuals, causing itching/swelling of mouth/throat. Cross-reactivity with other Cucurbitaceae (e.g., zucchini, melon) is possible. Severe reactions are uncommon.
