At DietsPremium, in addition to traditional cookies, we use secure browser storage (LocalStorage and SessionStorage) to speed up user interface rendering, immediately remember your diet plan configurations, and minimize unnecessary server requests.

1. Authentication, security, and session protection
We maintain secure authenticated sessions for logged-in users (clients and certified nutritionists), protect forms against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks, and verify API request integrity.
2. Diet generator functionality and personalization
We store shopping cart items, progress in the diet generator and calorie calculators (BMR, CPM), preferred interface language (across 9 supported locales), and WCAG AAA digital accessibility settings (such as high contrast and enlarged text).
3. Recording and honoring consent decisions (GDPR/ePrivacy)
We store a unique consent identifier (consentId) along with your chosen categories (necessary, analytics, marketing) to ensure our systems always respect your choices and never trigger optional scripts without consent.
4. Traffic analytics, Mouseflow, and platform optimization
With your consent, we collect anonymized traffic analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP masking) and analyze UI usability using Mouseflow (session recordings and heatmaps with full sensitive data masking) to fix errors and optimize navigation.
5. Campaign measurement and frequency capping
Only when marketing consent is granted, we measure the effectiveness of promotional campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and apply frequency capping to avoid repeatedly showing you the same advertisements.
