Broccoli
Broccoli (Brassica oleracea) may rarely trigger IgE-mediated allergy via Brassica pollen or lipid transfer proteins (LTPs). Symptoms include oral allergy syndrome (OAS), urticaria, or digestive distress. Cross-reacts with other cabbage-family vegetables (e.g., cauliflower, kale) and mugwort pollen. More common in individuals with birch or mugwort pollen allergy.
