Onion
Onions (Allium cepa) contain thiols and profilin (All c 3), triggering oral allergy syndrome (OAS) or contact dermatitis, especially in birch pollen-allergic individuals. Rarely causes anaphylaxis. Cross-reacts with garlic, leeks, and mugwort pollen.
