Sunflower

Sunflower seeds/oil contain allergens (e.g., Hel a 1, LTPs) triggering oral allergy syndrome, asthma, or anaphylaxis. Cross-reactivity with mugwort, ragweed, or other Asteraceae is common. Occupational exposure (e.g., bird feed) increases risk.
