Eggs and sausages, meat in gallerot, pastries, chicks, or noodles are just a few of the dishes that appear on the Easter table... However, sometimes one wants to break away from monotonous traditions and prepare something different that guests do not expect. Therefore, we propose 5 original dish concepts that everyone will love on Easter.
Are traditional Easter dishes healthy?
The preparation of unusual dishes will be a great enrichment - the exchange of traditional dishes for novelties can positively influence the holiday. Based on products typical of Easter, such as eggs, meat or sausages, many dishes can be created that have not yet been served. Although traditional Easter dishes are loved by many, they are high in calories. Replacing some products with healthier alternatives (e.g. mayonnaise with yogurt) will have a positive effect on the energy value of the dishes. In addition, it will positively affect the health of people struggling with lipid metabolism disorders - the consumption of large amounts of mayonnaise and red meat can increase cholesterol levels in the blood. This in turn carries the risk of developing many dangerous diseases, such as atherosclerosis, stroke or coronary heart disease. Limited consumption of these products is recommended. It is important to understand that a small amount of mayonnaise added to eggs will not immediately have a negative impact on the functioning of the cardiovascular system, but healthier alternatives are the better choice. Serving smaller portions on the plate and avoiding overeating will also have a positive impact on health. Overly abundant meals can lead to digestive problems such as bloating or abdominal pain. Therefore, it is advisable to maintain moderation and consume meals regularly every 3-4 hours - this will prevent both the feeling of heaviness and hunger.
