Affordable sources of protein
The following products are considered valuable sources of protein for bodybuilders and physically active individuals: chicken breast or turkey breast - approximately 19.6 g of protein per 100 g of product, beef - about 19.4 g of protein per 100 g of product, whole chicken eggs - about 12.56 g of protein per 100 g of product, pollock and cod - about 17.8 g of protein per 100 g of product, tuna - about 23.3 g of protein per 100 g of product, trout - about 20.4 g of protein per 100 g of product, mackerel - about 18.6 g of protein per 100 g of product, salmon - about 19.8 g of protein per 100 g of product. Additionally, protein requirements can be met by consuming dairy products such as cottage cheese (contains approximately 19.8 g of protein per 100 g of product) and natural yogurt 2% (contains only 4.3 g of protein per 100 g). However, it is important to note that protein can also be found in legumes, plant products, and nuts. When discussing the most affordable sources of protein, it is worth mentioning chicken breast (almost 17 zł per kg), chicken eggs (about 8-9 zł per 10 pieces), pollock (about 11 zł per kg), smoked mackerel (about 15-16 zł per kg), and cottage cheese (about 15 zł per kg). However, it should be noted that prices may vary depending on the place of purchase, manufacturer, and product composition.
