Cosmetic products available in pharmacies and drugstores often contain a range of chemical additives, including synthetic preservatives, artificial colorants, and fragrance compositions designed to extend shelf life, enhance visual appeal, and provide a pleasant scent. Certain formulations also incorporate high-percentage alcohol, which, when used regularly, may lead to skin irritation and disruption of the epidermis’s natural hydrolipid barrier. When considering exfoliating products, particular attention should be given to mechanically abrasive components—here, natural alternatives to synthetic microbeads, such as ground fruit pits, sea salt crystals, or raw sugar granules, offer comparable efficacy without potential drawbacks.
Natural peeling
A good quality skin peel is a friend of many women, but it's hard to find on pharmaceutical shelves at a reasonable price. It's best to keep the composition of the basic, natural peel as short as possible and as a solid as sugar, salt, coffee, sour grains of morel or nutmeg, ground nuts or coffee beans. A plant oil and/or glycerin additive is also valuable, as these are substances that show the effect of preventing the drying out of the skin.
