Bear garlic (Allium ursinum L.) has been a valued component of herbal medicine for centuries. Though less familiar than common garlic, its effects are equally significant - it promotes cardiovascular health, exhibits anticancer properties and demonstrates antibacterial activity. The recipe is simple. All you need is 38 40% alcohol (e.g. vodka, brandy, calvados) and fresh bear garlic leaves. The leaves need to be thoroughly washed and left to dry. Then cut into small pieces, poured into the bottle and filled with alcohol. After wrapping the bottles you need to shake it to get the air to the top. The bottle should be in a warm place for about half a month. Excessive temperature affects the release of medicinal substances through the plant.
