Report on FIWE - International Fitness and Wellness Fair

FIWE International Fitness & Wellness Industry Fair debuted in 2014, taking place at the end of the calendar year unlike previous years. We had the pleasure of participating in both editions and are very pleased to have been able to follow the development of this event since its inception. Trust us - compared to last year, the popularity of these fairs has increased by at least three times. In 2014, the event took place on the surface of a single hall, where several dozen exhibitors had sufficient space between the stands, and no congestion in the aisles. The scale of this year's fair surprised us quite a bit, as it took place in three halls, where one could count over 150 exhibitors, who were visited in large numbers and with great interest. A big advantage was the categorization of the specialties of the exhibitors, so that in one hall, one could learn about new products in training equipment and gym equipment, in the second room, the area for exhibitors related to supplements was located, and in the third, one could participate in various kinds of seminars. The two days of the fair passed very quickly, and no wonder - there were so many stands of manufacturers and distributors of fitness equipment, training clothes, supplements, sports clubs and shops, wellness and SPA centers, that it was impossible to visit them all. On the new, larger surface than last year, thematic zones appeared, and we especially liked the FIWE EXPERTS zone - a business platform for entrepreneurs, managers, and trainers.

The current edition of the fitness industry fair was also attended by known guests and ambassadors who were absent in the previous edition, as well as by Maxim Riznyk, one of the best athletes and precursors of the sport in Poland. The fair also saw the attendance of individuals with extensive training knowledge and significant sporting achievements. We were surprised to see that the most recognizable fitness models Simeon Panda and Hannibal for King the father of Street Workout in the world appeared at the fair. In the fair were also Michał Karmowski, Sylwia and Akop Szostak, Piotr Borecki, Karol Małecki and Paweł Głuchowski. During the event, bodybuilding competitions also took place, which were also the only qualifications for Arnold Classic in Poland, which will take place in two weeks in Madrid. Each participant could also take part in joint training sessions with the stars of the fitness industry. There was a very positive and sporting atmosphere. We were delighted that access to all special guests was not restricted, one could take pictures, receive autographs and exchange a few words. Anyone could greet their idol.

In addition to the bodybuilding competitions at the fair, there was also the "Bar Battle" in Street Workout. This type of sport is experiencing dynamic growth in Poland. What was happening with the bars construction defies description. It had to be seen! This event brought together the best 20 competitors from across the country. After what we were able to see, we can confidently state that these were the best contests of the year. The participants literally filled the space with energy. They showcased their skills in the best possible style. This can be attributed to the professional panel of judges, composed of individuals with a wealth of knowledge and years of experience. The jury consisted of: Artem Morozow from Russia, Chris "Sen Sei" Jay from England (Bar Sparta Team), and Hannibal for King. It is no surprise that the contestants wanted to show their best sides and simultaneously promote Polish Street Workout on the international stage. We are very pleased that we were able to attend the fair this year as well and have a good time together. We eagerly await the next, third edition.
