Every now and then in the mass media, you hear about weight loss supplements or substances -- not just supplements that are available in pharmacies or grocery stores, but also products that are commonly found in food stores -- scientific research often suggests that certain active substances may actually be beneficial for weight loss -- but it's not clear that they're meant to be a weight loss supplement -- so we should focus on products or substances that can not only help you lose weight but also have a beneficial effect on your body.

It's a fiber

Fiber, or dietary fiber, can be divided into two types: water-soluble and insoluble fraction. The first is responsible for: loosening the head mass, feeling full, absorbing toxic compounds in the gut, increasing the excretion of fats, which reduces total cholesterol and triglycerides, slows the absorption of glucose.

However, in recent years, coffee has been increasingly reported to increase energy expenditure by accelerating metabolism. It stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in fat tissue and reduces the absorption of glucose, which can support weight loss. Some studies confirm this hypothesis, but the effect of coffee on weight loss is small. Recently, however, it is increasingly being reported that coffee has a pro-health effect. 300 mg of caffeine per day (3 cups) can reduce the risk of developing only type 2 diabetes.
