Does spinach genuinely promote health? Is it safe to consume it raw?

Fresh spinach leaves differ significantly from the familiar green puree that many of us were forced to eat in childhood... Those who associate it solely with that form rarely consider adding it to their daily diet... Which is unfortunate, as it is a rich source of vitamins and minerals.

Raw spinach

Spinach doesn't require cooking or choking, it can be eaten raw. Just rinse it with cold water, dry it, and the spinach leaves you've prepared can be made into a salad, replacing it with a green salad. Raw spinaches are to be crushed with vegetable oil to increase the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and carotenoids.

Is the spinach healthy?

When we consume spinach, we provide our bodies with a large amount of β-carotene, vitamins, mainly C, A, E, K, B1, B2, folic acid, and minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron. We also find in it a powerful antioxidant of the carotenoid group lutein. Spinach leaves are one of the richest sources of this ingredient.

How do you make a spinach?

Spinach can be eaten both raw and processed with a paper towel. The raw leaves taste great as an additive to salads. Let's not forget about their oil value and the addition of a rich vegetable, preferably under cold water. This will allow them to retain an intense green colour and thus as many nutrients as possible. Then the leaves should be well dried, e.g. With a paper handkerchief.
