Concentration and attention
Concentration would be impossible if not for attention, the most important of all cognitive processes. It allows us to select information, analyze it, remember it, and play it again. It means so much (or so much) that we can use it to make decisions, modify our plans, and adapt to the circumstances. It is possible because attention works on several functions: selectivity is the task of selecting one stimulus out of all the stimuli that come to us. So, for example, attention is the time when we need to focus on the information that is sent to us by the reader, when we want to focus our attention on the location of the lecture and the lecture, and we may be less interested in the task at hand.
