Beef

Beef allergy is triggered by proteins (e.g., bovine serum albumin, gamma-globulin) or, rarely, Alpha-Gal Syndrome (tick-induced). Reactions include hives, angioedema, or anaphylaxis; more common in children but often outgrown. Alpha-Gal cases may present delayed anaphylaxis (3–6 hours post-consumption).
