Research has shown that the application of yoga in therapy for people with depression can reduce feelings of anxiety and support the healing process. Practicing yoga can bring many health benefits in a physical context, such as maintaining a high level of motor parameters, strengthening muscles and joints, improving posture, reducing the risk of falls in older people, reducing stress and anxiety during pregnancy and childbirth, and positively affecting symptoms associated with pregnancy.
