In the morning, you wake up with a heavy sense of guilt, vowing that this was the last time, only to discover by evening, with a sinking feeling, how swiftly the contents of your fridge have vanished. This recurring pattern may have far deeper roots than you realize—roots that span both emotional and biological dimensions.

Food addiction is the cause

If, for example, a person's emotions are not satisfactory, or the motives behind them are lacking, then it can be difficult for us to realize that there are many things in life that are not pleasant, or that are hard to understand, but that there is also a lot of hard work to do. For example, when a person is not satisfied with his or her own emotions, he or she may find it difficult to understand how many of these things happen.
