The experiment involved 139 people who were going to eat a meal at an all-you-can-eat Italian restaurant. They were divided into two groups. One had to pay $4 for a meal and the other $8. As it turned out, the people who paid for a $4 meal rated the meal on the basis of the last bite, as opposed to the ones who paid $8. However, the impact on the second group was the first bite and also the first impression of the meal. The price we pay for our meal can affect the taste of the food.
