The Four Stages of the Dukan Diet

The Dukan diet consists of four crucial stages, each playing a vital role. Skipping any of them or disrupting their order will not lead to the desired weight loss, but will render our efforts ineffective.
The entire treatment is divided into four stages:
Attack phase (strengthening phase) Equivalent rate of weight loss phase (transitional phase) Weight stabilization phase.
The Dukan diet phase I
Phase 1 lasts about 7 days. It is a very restrictive phase, which raises a lot of concerns. Discipline, however, translates into kilograms, because in phase I we lose the most. In addition, the body prepares for further, less stringent levels. The main objective is to supply the body with high-protein products only and exclusively (see the basics of the baking diet). However, vegetables and fruits, except onions and cornflakes, are strictly prohibited.
The Dukan diet phase II
Phase II lasts until we reach the assumed weight, so even for a few months. But it's alternating, that is, for a couple of days we have a phase I diet, and for the next few meals we vary the vegetables we choose with low carbohydrates. A protein diet combined with vegetables allows you to include them in the menu:
The Dukan diet phase III
At this stage, we maintain what we've achieved so far. The length of the phase is exactly as long as we lost the kilograms in phase II. Except that every kilogram is 10 days. So if we lose 8 kilograms, phase III should last 80 days. This is the time when we can maintain the right dietary habits and adjust the diet to our individual tastes so that the changes are permanent and firmly rooted. In addition, we avoid the unwanted effect of jojo.
The Dukan diet phase IV
It's about maintaining weight and understanding the right principles of rational nutrition. There are no restrictions on us during phase IV, but we should remember everything we've learned through the previous stages. This is a phase that should last for the rest of our lives. The main and one of the few assumptions of phase IV is to eat one day a week just like we do in the stroke phase. This will help us maintain weight while also reminding us of the basic principles of the diet.
