Additionally, it contains minerals such as magnesium, potassium, sodium, iron, copper, manganese, and zinc, as well as fiber and bioactive compounds responsible for its health benefits.

Golden flaxseed offers a broad spectrum of health benefits comparable to those of well-known brown flaxseed. Among its advantageous effects are the elevation of HDL cholesterol levels while simultaneously reducing total cholesterol and harmful LDL fractions, particularly noticeable in individuals with pre-existing hypercholesterolemia. It also positively influences inflammation markers and anthropometric indices. Due to its high fiber content, it promotes prolonged satiety, thereby curbing snacking urges. Concurrently, it supports healthy digestive function, aiding in weight management and preventing constipation. This makes it particularly beneficial for older adults who frequently experience irregular bowel movements. Research indicates that regular consumption leads to a reduction in adipose tissue. However, it is crucial to select a manufacturer that ensures high-quality and nutrient-rich products, avoiding those stored under improper conditions, which diminishes biological activity and health benefits. In summary, golden flax demonstrates significant advantages for gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and intestinal health. Additionally, it aids in lowering elevated glucose levels and reducing the risk of certain cancers. It is a valuable addition to a daily diet, especially given its reasonable and accessible cost.
