Sandwiches can be prepared in a very short span of time... If we opt for suitable ingredients, they can serve as an excellent component of a thoughtfully composed diet... Whole-grain bread delivers complex carbohydrates, including fiber, tuna is abundant in beneficial protein, while sunflower seeds are a source of indispensable fatty acids.

The irreplaceable components

3 slices of whole-grain bread (100 g), a can of tuna in its own brine (120 g), 1 tomato (170 g), a spoonful of sunflower seeds (15 g), and a serving of salad at one's preference.

The method by which it is prepared

Preparing sandwiches is a very straightforward process: we situate lettuce and tuna on the bread slices, add a sliced tomato on top, and sprinkle the whole sandwich with sunflower seeds. If desired, we can pre-toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a dry pan. The meal is ready to be consumed!
