„Red Teabag is the top choice for weight management due to its digestive benefits, cholesterol- and triglyceride-lowering effects, and anti-cancer compounds. It plays a crucial role in achieving a healthier body weight.”
How does red tea work?
Red tea is an oolong variety obtained by partial fermentation. The enzymes contained in it have not been completely deactivated. It contains polyphenols that are absorbed through the intestinal mucosa and distributed throughout the body, and then excreted in the bile and urine. The main representative of red tea is Pu-erh tea. It is most commonly consumed by dieters who lose weight.
The properties of red tea
Because of its polyphenols, red tea has the properties of preventing the formation of free radicals, thus reducing the risk of developing certain diseases, cancerous processes and also protecting against hypertension or atherosclerosis. To preserve all its properties, it should be diluted with water at a temperature not exceeding 95 °C and left under cover for a few minutes. Red tea contains caffeine of about 15 mg. However, it is a caffeine with a slightly more active and mild stimulating effect, which, unlike the caffeine found in coffee, is maintained throughout the day. Its anti-oxidant properties are the most abundant in green tea, and it is best preserved by protecting the body from green or black tea, as opposed to free radishes.
Red tea and weight loss
It is a very aromatic and dark tea with a specific flavor. It directly affects the digestive tract by stimulating the digestion process by increasing the secretion of intestinal juices. Polyphenols in turn inhibit gastric lipase as well as pancreas. Thus disrupted, the emulsion of fat causes increased thermogenesis caused by increased energy expenditure. It promotes intestinal function, stimulates enzymes, facilitates digestion and prevents constipation.
Does drinking red tea have any side effects?
For example, the loss of potassium, a mineral that affects the functioning of the whole body, causes muscle soreness, nervousness, fainting, or chronic weakness, fatigue, which can lead to water and electrolyte disorders and dehydration, with serious consequences in the form of loss of water and valuable minerals.
