Osteoporosis is a medical condition
Although it may sometimes seem to us that everything is fine with our body, osteoporosis is a disease whose origins are almost imperceptible. It is not accompanied by pain, nor by any particular external symptoms that could be a warning sign to start working. Its course is characterized by a progressive decrease in bone density. This phenomenon was formerly known as osteochondrosis. It can also be boldly referred to as reduced bone mineralization.
Osteoporosis is the cause
As with any disease, there are certain characteristic factors that are the cause of its development or a marker of its onset. It will primarily affect the elderly, especially women who are going through menopause. It has also been observed that women are much less likely to suffer from it than men. Although osteoporosis is a disease of older people, we are working on it all our lives.
Osteoporosis diet and treatment
Because we have a major influence on the lifestyle we lead, we can also have control over the progression and development of osteoporosis. So we can say that sometimes we lead a healthy lifestyle: exercise daily, a diet full of protein, calcium, and vitamin D supplements. Using the right diet can effectively prevent it from developing. So prevention itself plays a major role here. So you can also say that we sometimes lead it ourselves.
