Original Suggestions for Summer Refreshment Beverages

During the summer season, fruit stands are burdened with a variety of fruits that provide massive quantities of health-promoting nutrients... The drinks prepared from these ingredients are a treasure trove of vitamins and minerals – on hot days, it is worth showing interest in refreshment beverages.

What are some ingredients worth incorporating in the creation of summer beverages?

If you have a blender at home, you can use it to quickly prepare summer beverages. Such meals are very fast to make and require only a few ingredients. First of all, you should use seasonal vegetables and fruits. They contain a lot more vitamins and minerals, which gives the beverages a higher nutritional value. In summer, you can use ingredients such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, melons, peaches, currants, young carrots, spinach, or beets - these products are already available in supermarkets in June. You can also add healthy fats to your beverages, which are found in avocado, flax seeds, nuts, or chia seeds. In this way, the beverages will be even more nourishing, but remember that they will contain many more calories - so don't overdo it with the amount of these ingredients. When preparing the beverages, also remember to use sources of protein, which are found for example in milk, plant-based drinks, yogurt, or kefir. Nuts and seeds also contain this nutrient. To make the beverages even more refreshing, you can add ice cubes or lemon or lime slices.
