Nature-based candidiasis management: Antifungal botanicals for addressing *Candida albicans* overgrowth

Amid the proliferation of unverified online sources, conflicting—and at times alarmist—claims regarding the purported necessity of complete yeast eradication from the human body have become increasingly prevalent. Yet *Candida albicans*, an opportunistic fungal organism within the *Candida* genus, constitutes a natural component of the gut, skin, and mucosal microbiota in the vast majority of healthy individuals. Under what circumstances, then, does its presence warrant concern, and when does it remain a benign, physiological constituent of our internal ecosystem?

Candida neurological and skin symptoms

It is worth noting that both skin and neurological symptoms can be observed in people who have developed Candida excessively and uncontrollably in the body. If confirmed by laboratory studies of Candida, treatment should be initiated within the next few days after diagnosis. Symptoms of diffuse Candida are non-specific and include fever, general systemic inflammatory reactions and multi-organism failure.

Candida is a natural treatment

If the infection affects the vagina or the digestive tract, probiotics may also be prescribed. Scientific literature indicates that simple sugar does not affect the development of the candidate, as many authoritative, non-scientific publications erroneously point out. Excluding simple sugars from the diet will have a beneficial effect on our body, but in the context of Candida it will neither accelerate nor slow the disease development in the patient. To avoid the disease, it is wise to use antibiotics that cause the destruction not only of pathogenic microorganisms, but also the removal of contaminated blood from the skin.

It's green for a candidate

The scientific literature does not specify exactly which herbs could effectively kill the fungus, and in addition the effective amounts far exceed their potential for consumption with a traditional diet. To a lesser extent, fresh garlic, onions and turmeric in combination with pepper may be beneficial, which show an anti-fungal effect. Candida is often a local infection that can be easily cured with antifungal medicines.
