Miraculin is a rarely encountered protein in Poland, distinguished by its unique taste-modifying properties, yet its acquisition is fraught with logistical challenges. The product is distributed almost exclusively through online sales platforms, which significantly restricts its accessibility to the average consumer. Moreover, owing to the intricate extraction process and limited supply, its price remains at a comparatively elevated level. This article introduces readers to the potential benefits of miraculin supplementation, examines its biochemical characteristics, and evaluates whether investing in this compound may yield tangible health or sensory benefits.

Other preparations of meat or meat offal

Mirakuline is actually a protein, and more precisely a glycoprotein, so it's a combination of protein and carbohydrate by the French traveler and cartographer Chevalier des Marchais. It's found in a plant called Synsepal sweet, which is found in West Africa. Among the inhabitants of those regions, it is called a miraculous or a magical fruit. In Europe, it wasn't discovered until 1725, thanks to a French traveller and cartoonist, Chevaliers des Marchas.

The properties of miracles

It is particularly interesting that the consumption of miraculin produces a sweetness effect comparable to that of sugar consumption. It has even been found to bind to the sweetness receptor up to 1 million times more strongly than artificial sweeteners and 100 million times stronger than sugar. Due to the very low calorie content of this protein, it is ideal for people on a reduced diet or who are obese. People are often addicted to sweetness and cannot function without it, and therefore the sweetener produces many additional calories consumed, e.g. through the use of sugary drinks or the intake of salt.

Miracle is the source

Synepal strawberries can be found in natural conditions in West Africa, where they have been used for centuries. Today, the miraculous fruit is grown commercially in Florida, Taiwan or Ghana. However, it is most commonly used in Japan, where the community has literally fallen in love with its properties, and especially the organoleptic sensations it causes.

Miraculin is a pill

It turns out that the extract consumed in the form of radishes can extend the lifespan of the protein contained in it up to 24 months. It is the only form of this protein that you can get in our country. Because it is not grown naturally in our climate, and the necessary research to be done to introduce it to the Polish market has not been done there is no possibility of obtaining fresh or dried fruit.

Miracle is the price

It's easy to estimate that one tablet costs about $9. With the increase in the estimated portions of the price, it's probably due to the difficulties caused by growing the plant, as well as its low prevalence, because few people know, especially in our country, what it is and how it works.
