Marjoram, a botanical species indigenous to the Mediterranean region, is now cultivated on a global scale—spanning North African territories, the Asian continent, and even extending into European latitudes, including Poland—where it is primarily esteemed as a fragrant culinary herb. Yet its significance transcends mere gastronomic applications. For centuries, it has constituted an integral component of traditional medicine, employed in the alleviation of a diverse array of ailments. Particularly within Persian healing traditions, which boast a rich historical legacy, marjoram has been instrumental in mitigating symptoms associated with dyspepsia, excessive intestinal gas accumulation, upper respiratory tract infections, migrainous headaches, generalized bodily fatigue, lumbar spinal pain, and impaired intestinal motility. Nevertheless, a critical inquiry persists: Do these time-honored therapeutic applications possess empirically validated efficacy, or do they represent merely a cultural heritage devoid of substantiated medical foundation?

The medicinal properties of starch

Not without reason mayonnaise is used, for example, for abdominal pain. At least to some extent, the relief of this type of ailment is based on the anti-inflammatory properties of the plant, as demonstrated in an experiment in rats; in addition, the extract from mayonnaises decreased the secretion of lactic acid. This property will be particularly beneficial in people with gastrointestinal reflux. There are also reports that it reduces the effect of DHEA-d on women who undergo polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Mayonnaise may be effective in certain bacterial or fungal infections. Both water and alcoholic extracts as well as essential oils have been effective against bacteria such as Staphylococcus Aureus, Streptococcum pyogenes, or Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Therefore, the infusion of fresh or dried leaves should also be checked in the throat. It is also possible to use mayonnaise oil 4 to dissolve in juice or water and drink.

Mayerank in case of cataract can be used as an ointment as well as a leaf spray. Ointment with mayerank extract is applied to the nostrils (not to be applied deep into the nasal passages).

One of the traditional ways to relieve the symptoms of inflammation of the bay is by inhaling. You can also use maple leaves. Just pour 2 tablespoons of dry leaves in a bowl with a boil of about half a liter. After a few minutes you can bring your face close to the vaporizer, cover your head with a towel and inhale a couple. You should not repeat the treatment too often, and a single procedure should last from 5 to 10 minutes.
