Another suggestion for a breakfast meal is manna cereal with pear, cranberries, and sunflower seeds. Manna cereal may remind us of our childhood, but it's worth rediscovering. It's a light and easily digestible food, containing B vitamins as well. Manna cereal also contains iodine, an essential microelement that we need to supply to the body with food and water. Thanks to this, the thyroid can produce hormones responsible for crucial processes in the body, such as temperature regulation or metabolism.
Main ingredients
– 5 spoonfuls (60 g) of manna groats, – 1.5 cups (340 ml) of milk, – 1 pear of medium size (130 g), – 1 spoonful (12 g) of cranberries, – 1 spoonful (12 g) of sunflower seeds.
Way of preparation
At the outset, we should be cooking 1.5 glasses of milk in a pot, after boiling, gradually pouring in the manna, gently stirring it. After about a minute's wait, the grain is ready. We add sliced pears, a spoonful of cranberries, and a spoonful of sunflower seeds to the prepared grain. Breakfast is now ready!
