Coffee stands as one of the most widely consumed beverages globally, serving as a natural stimulant due to its caffeine content. Regular consumption may enhance focus, boost cognitive and physical performance. Additionally, its distinctive flavor profile appeals to millions, making it a favored beverage worldwide.

Is coffee healthy?

Opinions about coffee vary widely: some argue that its consumption should be restricted or even avoided, while others see no problem in quantity. Given the overall health and mortality rates among people who consume coffee daily, it can be concluded that coffee is not only tasty but certainly healthy. However, this dependence has been observed in both women and men worldwide, in people who have consumed 12 cups of coffee a day and those who consumed it up to 59 times a day.[1] It can be emphasized that this has been demonstrated on the basis of more than one hundred case registers of cases, both in Europe and the United States.

Coffee and liver

However, current research indicates that as many as 2 cups of coffee per day are already able to reduce the risk of liver failure, which is also important this caused by excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages [2].. In addition, the drink, depending on the dose, reduces the activity of liver enzymes, limits its fat, and even fatigue.[3] In people who drink coffee, it has been observed that there is also a higher risk of developing liver cancer.[4] Coffee can undoubtedly pose a risk of causing this unhealthy effect.

Coffee on an empty stomach

Unfortunately, this heating and stimulating beverage can not always be consumed without any side effects. Drinking coffee results in increased secretion of stomach acid, which can cause exceptional discomfort. This happens because the coffee-sensitive stomach lining cells are stimulated to activate the protons of the coffee pump. In short, is made of acid, the purpose of which is to affect the stomach, and when your stomach is empty it starts to irritate the tissues of the digestive system.[6] This can be caused by the use of a special type of coffee pump, but it can also be used to reduce the pH of the food.

Does coffee raise your blood pressure?

Coffee consumption is not associated with a significant increase in blood pressure, but mainly affects healthy people whose lifestyle is not affected by hygiene (e.g. it teaches that smoking products can have a completely different effect).[8] Unfortunately, there are currently no specific recommendations for the health effects of coffee consumption, which is not a health concern in the developed world. It is said to be safe to consume coffee after a certain amount of time, and it can be used against the health of any person without the use of any of these ingredients.
