Excessive alcohol consumption or prolonged use of medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen can lead to the development of inflammation of the stomach lining. This condition can run without symptoms but is often very burdensome. Implementation of appropriate pharmacological and dietary treatment can prevent unpleasant consequences of this disorder. Symptoms such as upper abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting should not be underestimated.
It's an unhealthy stomach
Stomach inflammation is inflammation of the mucous membrane of this part of the digestive tract caused by various factors. It occurs in the following forms: acute (blood-like, caused by Helicobacter pylori, oily) or chronic: chronic non-cancerous inflammation caused by helicobacter pyllori, autoimmune degenerative inflammation, gallbladder gastropathy.
Unhealthy stomach is a symptom
However, the most common symptom is uncharacteristic pain in the upper abdomen (or other parts of the abdominal cavity). Other typical symptoms of indigestion include: nausea; vomiting (can be translucent, green or yellow, sometimes with bumps or completely bloody, depending on the severity of the inflammation of the stomach); vomiting; fast satiety after a meal; loss of appetite; unexplained weight loss.
Unhealthy stomach is the cause
The most common causes of acute gastric inflammation include: alcohol abuse; abuse of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen); stress; injuries, burns, severe poisoning; OUN disease (Cushing's ulcer due to severe OUN damage).
Unhealthy stomach treatment
Treatment of stomach upset is closely linked to the cause of its occurrence. In this disease, pharmacology is often unavoidable. In stomach inflammation, the following medicines are used: anti-sodium acid: proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole, pantoprazole and lansoprazole) and histamine 2 receptor blockers (ranitlucin), anti-inflammatory medicines magnesium compounds, aluminium, alginate, sucral, prokinetic acid cisaprid, methotrexide. In the case of infection with Hepatitis A, family members are advised to initiate antibiotic therapy to relieve stomach gut bacteria.
You're on a diet with an unhealthy stomach
During the course of treatment, the use of confectionery (alcohol, coffee, tobacco) should be discontinued. In acute malnutrition, the diet depends on the stage of the disease. During the first 2 days of the feeding is recommended. It is advisable to provide plenty of liquid beverages at a moderate temperature. In particular, untreated juice should be avoided. During treatment, no alcohol, no sugar, sugar-free tea, no honey and no tobacco are consumed. After two days of feeding, the main ingredients in the diet should be consumed for long periods of time, such as: no sugar is consumed at the same time, no fat is used, no food is cooked, no meat is prepared, no milk is produced, no water is produced. In the following cases, the amount of sugar in the food should be reduced to a very high level.
