Hypersonic Training: Transcending Your Limits!

If you believe that you have been working on certain elements for a considerable amount of time but see no significant progress, there is a particular type of training that can change that. If you feel that your greatest limitation is the length of a step or the lack of speed, hypersonic training might be exactly what you are looking for. However, it does require a high level of advancement. Thanks to this form of training, you can feel for a moment who you want to be.

Tell me who you wish to be, and I will inform you of the necessary actions to undertake

Do you aspire to be like Usain Bolt or perhaps like Henryk Szost? In both circumstances, it's necessary to work on the rhythm of running, that is, the length of the stride. Nevertheless, occasionally we maintain the pace, and despite its preservation, we always reach the destination at the same time. Where's the problem? There are several possible answers. One of them is speed, which doesn't allow us to utilize our maximum potential, another is the lack of endurance, and the third is the lack of strength. We can also mention numerous other factors. However, let's focus on the ones mentioned above. All three share a common aspect - speed, endurance, and strength can be improved.

What is overspeed training?

Overspeed training is a must-have when it comes to regression. It is also known as overspeed training and is considered to be highly effective abroad, where its positive impacts have been confirmed by numerous studies. It involves forcing the body to surpass physiological speed limits in very short series. Typically, overspeed training requires a slight surface inclination, strong wind or specialized equipment, such as a mechanical pull rope or the Sprint Master device. The goal of overspeed training is to break the speed barrier and create new channels for neuromuscular stimulation, which enable freer running later.

Methods of Supersonic Training

The following methods are very useful for the training of supersonic techniques.. – Downhill Running – the easiest form of training to achieve excessive speeds.. Finding the perfect mountain is however difficult.. The experience of athletes and trainers shows that the angle of inclination cannot be greater than 5 degrees.. With a higher inclination, the body may deviate and create a wrong movement pattern.. It is also recommended not to run more than 30–40 meters downhill.. – Running with Wind Assistance – if we rely solely on the wind, we cannot plan training times.. Training with wind is easy to perform in places where the wind is stronger.. If we feel during the run that the wind is pushing us slightly forward, it is a good moment to start running.. – Running with Mechanical Assistance – the mechanical drive can be created using the Sprint Master device.. Another option is the use of a special rubber that can be stretched up to 100 meters.. The rubber is cheap and consists of a string, a belt, and special protection devices.. – Running on a Mechanized Treadmill – best in home conditions.. A treadmill can generate a constant speed that forces us to maintain pace.. Its weakness is however the limited possibility to regulate speed.. The maximum speed that we can achieve is 20–25 km/h.. For some, this may be too little.. There are also more advanced models of mechanical platforms that allow for a speed of up to 40 km/h..
