Assessments and opinions on young barley in the treatment of type 2 diabetes
Research into the impact of young barley on blood sugar levels was conducted on a group of 40 patients suffering from type 2 diabetes. They were split into 2 equal groups. The first group followed a diet combined with oral anti-diabetic medications, while the second group took insulin. Both groups used younger barley for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months. Scientists analyzed blood sugar levels, glycosylated hemoglobin (first group), and glycosylated albumin (second group) through blood tests. The results confirm the effectiveness of using young barley in the case of type 2 diabetes. In the first group, overall blood sugar levels improved in 95% of patients and glycosylated hemoglobin levels improved in all patients. In the second group, an improvement in glycosylated albumin levels was observed in 60% of patients, as well as an improvement in 85% of patients regarding secondary symptoms. These figures demonstrate the benefits of supplementing with green barley.
