It has a wide range of effects, including anti-diabetic and anti-atherogenic properties, as well as menopause-mitigating and liver-supporting benefits. Kudzu is a medicinal plant with its most valuable roots and leaves. It is an herbaceous plant. It can grow up to 12 m in height. Among its biologically active substances are genistein, daidein, and isoflavonoids. It originated in Japan. It has been used in Chinese folk medicine for its therapeutic properties since 200 BC. It was introduced to the United States in 1876.
It's about the properties
In addition, due to its ability to reduce the fraction of LDL cholesterol in the body, it acts as an anticonvulsant, inhibits the accumulation of blood platelets, and also prevents coronary artery disease. Besides, the root has an anti-fungal and antibacterial function, and, interestingly, it facilitates the treatment of alcoholism, nicotine addiction, and other diseases. It is an increasingly common form of therapy at various centers.
What is the dosage?
In the case of the second form, you can easily replace it with gelatin, pancake or potato starch or cornstarch. When we decide on pills, the packaging (about 90 tablets) usually costs PLN 30 and is enough for 1.5 months (dosing 2-4 tablets per meal).
There's a bunch of contraindications
It is certainly not recommended for pregnant or lactating women, as well as for people suffering from hormone-dependent diseases (endometriosis, hashimoto), and it is not recommended to take it with anticonvulsant medicines.
I'm not sure about the side effects
They are rarely observed, but if they occur, most often after taking pharmaceutical preparations, they are usually nausea, vomiting, and even because of the associated compounds, liver damage. It is very important to thoroughly check the composition of the preparation before making a decision to take it.
