Dr. Dąbrowska's dietary regimen, also referred to as the fruit and vegetable diet, is characterized by the author as a therapeutic fasting cleanse. According to its principles, it aims to eliminate harmful deposits in the body and enhance overall well-being. Weight loss is merely an ancillary outcome of this treatment. What results can be anticipated from adhering to the fruit and vegetable diet, and what steps should be taken following the conclusion of the fasting period?

Dr. Dubrovsk's diet is the rule

One of the most important rules of Dr. Dąbrowsk's diet is that it is not a lifelong diet. It should be treated more as a periodic treatment that can last from one day to a maximum of several weeks. After its completion, you can periodically return to a vegetable-fruit diet (e.g. using it once a week). During the treatment you should eat vegetables and fruits that are low in nutrients. These include vegetables: onions ( onions, raisins, peas, onions), herbs (which may last from a day to several weeks at most).

Is this the diet of Dr. Dubrovnik? How much weight can you lose?

Diets with such low calories do not provide adequate amounts of protein, carbohydrates and fats, vitamins and minerals, not to mention (especially that using the diet of Dr. Dubrovsk, practically no fat is consumed, which hinders the absorption of vitamins A, D, E, and K). Weight loss during the diet is also affected by several factors.

Quitting the Dąbrowska diet

After we finish the treatment, we gradually introduce vegetables and fruits that were not on the fast food list. Then we add a small amount of cassava and rice (based on the vegetable and fruit). We try to implement a healthy diet on a permanent basis, so we eliminate sugar, flour, white rice and salt from the diet. We avoid sweets and jams. In the second week, we can vary vegetable fats into cold-pressed oils and rice.
