A cyclical ketogenic diet serves as an effective strategy for athletes seeking to refine their physique and optimize muscle energy storage. Increased muscle volume and reduced body fat are just a few of the benefits associated with this dietary approach. The key to success lies in the integration of tailored exercise routines with a meticulously structured meal plan.
CKD is training
When using a cyclical ketogenic diet, it is good to fit the exercise in the CKD diet accordingly. This action is aimed at rapidly reducing glycogen stored in the muscles, fat burning, and on the last five days, stimulating each muscle group equally in order to effectively rebuild the lost carbohydrate reserves.
CKD has a menu
The CKD diet should provide all the good quality sources of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. We should remember to provide the right amount of fiber (about 2530 g), full-value proteins, as well as good quality fats. We categorically avoid simple sugars and carbs of a different origin than vegetables. We drink a lot of fresh water and care for the right quantity of salt, but we prefer Himalayan vegetables that provide the necessary micronutrients.
