The delicacy comprised of carrots and zucchini is an excellent source of beta-carotene, which impacts the body's immune system and skin condition. It is therefore advisable to incorporate these vegetables into your meals.

Fundamental ingredients

– cucumber of medium size (400 g), – 4 tablespoons of curd cheese (125 g), – a large carrot (60 g), – a small onion (50 g), – one egg (50 g), – a spoonful of mustard oil (10 g), – 2 slices of whole grain bread (70 g), – dill, – sea salt.

The method of preparation

Minutely chop the onion and the zucchini, and grate the carrots on a plate with large holes. Then heat the oil in the pot and add the onions. Sauté it, and then add the zucchini, increase the heat and sauté it until the zucchini turns soft and the entire liquid evaporates. Add a small amount of salt, mix it, and remove it from the heat. In another container, beat the egg, add grated carrots, onions with zucchini, crushed quark, and parsley. Then spread the prepared mass in a heat-resistant dish and place it in the oven, preheated to 190°C, for about 40 minutes. The Zapiekanka can be served with whole-grain bread.
