Buckwheat groats are not only an excellent choice for sweet dishes, but also for lunch or dinner ideas... The version with buckwheat groats and chicken is truly worth trying.

Basic elements

– Half a cup of buckwheat groats (50 g), – half a chicken breast fillet (100 g), – 60 g of canned red kidney beans (3 tablespoons), – half a can of chopped tomatoes (200 g), – 2 small gherkins, – half a red onion (50 g), – a tablespoon of rapeseed oil (10 g), – seasonings: salt, pepper.

The question of its preparation

Initially, we prepare the buckwheat porridge in accordance with the instructions found on the packaging. Subsequently, we cut pieces from the chicken filet and place them on the rapeseed oil heated on the pan. We season it with salt and pepper. When the meat has been slightly fried on both sides, we add finely chopped onions to the pan. We then cook all of it under the cover. When the chicken is ready, we add canned tomatoes, beans, and sliced pickled cucumbers to the pan. We warm it up a bit, and finally, we add the buckwheat porridge to the pan. The meal is ready!
