A boy or a girl?
In addition to the reproductive cells, each of the cells in the body contains 46 female chromosomes (23 pairs) on which the genetic information is stored in the form of genetic material DNA. There are 23 pairs of chromosomas of the sex. This is what the sex of the baby depends on. The woman has a set of XX, whereas the man has X and Y chromosome. Both the egg and the sperm contain only half of the set of chromosomal pairs, so that when they combine (female fetus) they form a whole, complementing each other. However, the female egg will always have to have the X-chromosome, while the female fetus may have the Y-chrome.
