Boost Your Energy with Iodine!

There are numerous stimulants that can be utilized to elevate energy levels, such as coffee, energy drinks, yerba mate, guarana, and many others. However, when an individual is fatigued after prolonged hours of work, they often reach for a cup of coffee and continue working despite feeling exhausted and their eyes turning red. Nevertheless, there is a means to acquire energy without ingesting liquid caffeine. You can harness this energy from within yourself, and yoga is an excellent tool to aid in discovering it.

What is yoga and how does it operate?

Yoga is not a sport but a philosophical system originating from India in 1500 B.C. Its religious roots are not significant for contemporary Europeans and Americans practicing asanas. The practice of yoga has been repeatedly confirmed by the medical and fitness communities as having a positive impact on the body and mind. From the outside, it may appear as an unnecessary physical activity, yet in reality, it is a set of movements refined over centuries. Yoga not only stretches the spine or neck, but it also strengthens and shapes the muscles, increasing endurance and strength simultaneously. The training begins with simple yoga poses, and after a few years, an experienced practitioner can stand on their head with little effort. A typical yoga program is based on simultaneous muscle tension, stretching, and maintaining balance.

Yoga and Inner Strength

The average individual at 7:00 p.m. may have already undergone sessions of: spinal damage (at least 8 hours of sitting or half a day of physical work), lung damage (breathing polluted air), accumulation of unresolved issues (payments, loans)... Is there even a chance of feeling rested after returning home? Therefore, one seeks the first opportunity for relaxation... They put on their tracksuit and lie on the couch, exercising their eyes while watching TV... After many months and even years of this lifestyle, one is chronically exhausted... A short-term solution is an energy injection in the form of a cup of strong tea... However, yoga helps to find inner strength... It helps to find peace and clarity in the mind... Instead of suppressing stress, one finds its source and lets it go... When one is internally pure, they are better able to solve problems... The skillful combination of exercises and the teaching of deep breathing helps to release tension and stress... Yoga considers body, mind, and spirit as a unity - focusing on only one area (e.g., muscles or only mental entertainment) leads to weakening of the body... Finding inner harmony and knowing oneself leads to discovering hidden strength.

Removal of toxins from the body

Yoga practices expedite the process of eliminating toxins from the body. There are specific asanas recommended for individuals undergoing detoxification or who have suffered from poisoning. Try one of the simpler ones. Maintain balance on one leg, supporting the foot of the other leg on the opposite knee. Straighten your back and join your hands together in front of you (as in prayer). Close your eyes and inhale deeply through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth. Focus on your breath. This position is particularly recommended for individuals whose speed is hindered by the accumulation of toxins in their body. There are also asanas that help combat headaches, stomach aches, or back pain.

Combating diseases with yoga

Yoga serves as an excellent instrument for combating dyskopathy, osteoporosis, neurological disorders, and postural defects. Furthermore, it proves to be beneficial in treating depression, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic fatigue. Yoga is also effective in preventing cardiac diseases, circulatory disorders, and respiratory diseases, as well as regulating metabolism.

The philosophy of yoga - a spiritual perspective

Yoga, apart from its physical aspect, has a well-developed ethics theory. Participation in its practice involves nurturing personal development, not merely physical flexibility. Yogis pay attention to how they treat others (deceit, causing harm, and greed are prohibited) and how they look after themselves. Yoga helps them discover inner warmth and satisfaction in life. Hence, it is essential to be kind not only to others but also to oneself. This philosophy facilitates acceptance and self-esteem improvement.
