BOSU is a gymnastic instrument that takes the shape of a half-sphere with an additional platform resembling a foot for aerobic exercise. The typical diameter of a BOSU ball is 60 to 70 cm. Both parts of this equipment are utilized during training. Turning the BOSU upside down allows for the independent training of deep sensibility, postural muscles, balance, and central stabilization. On the other hand, performing exercises on the ball with the base on the ground serves to strengthen the arm or abdominal muscles. BOSU training is recommended for individuals recovering from injuries and returning to sports, as well as active athletes with disciplines demanding a high level of balance engagement. The combination of advantages of the gymnastic ball and the aerobic step makes BOSU a practical and versatile solution for those lacking access to fitness centers or clubs. Training with BOSU supports the enhancement of motor coordination, body shaping, increasing spinal flexibility, and strengthening the back muscles.

Flexi-bar - a flexible training pole

Flexi-bar is a training device that is still considered more of a curiosity than a basic piece of equipment. It is a rod made of synthetic material reinforced with glass fibers. Additionally, it is equipped with two symmetrically arranged rubber weights and a special handle located in the center. Training with the flexi-bar involves performing small body movements that cause vibrational vibration. This wave is transmitted to the muscles and structures that produce it. Thanks to the flexi-bar, the vibration spreads throughout the body, leading to uncontrolled strengthening of the deeper muscles, including the structures of the pelvic floor. This second group of muscles is particularly important, as training these muscle groups is a key element of bladder prophylaxis, which is a very common problem in pregnant women and young mothers. This leads to a gradual improvement in metabolic function and an increase in overall fitness, which in turn has a pain-relieving effect. Thanks to specially adapted handles, there is the possibility to adjust the training device according to the requirements of the exercise you want to perform. The versatility of sandbags allows them to be used for training any muscle group. In gyms in so-called functional areas, it is increasingly common to see people performing basic strength exercises such as rowing, squats, forward bends, or lunges using bags. However, it is worth noting that training with sandbags requires a different technique than traditional training activities. Therefore, it is important to first master the basic principles of training before starting the exercises.
