Extract from medicinal rosemary

Rosmarinic acid is a naturally occurring compound derived from the plant known as medicinal rosemary. It is a variety belonging to the family of leguminous vegetables and found wild in the Mediterranean region. This substance is also present in flavoring oils, medicinal melisias, hyaluronic acid or maceran oils. The preparation has mainly antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also considered an anti-allergic and antiseptic agent. Due to its better absorption through the skin, it is very commonly found in the oil form. However, infusions are also frequently prepared from it or used as an additive to wine or bath water. It should be noted, however, that a prepared bath should not be taken in the evening, due to its stimulating properties. In terms of application, rosmarinic acid can be effectively used in inflammatory conditions and bacterial infections. It is also an inhibitor of some enzymes responsible for the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, which is responsible for the elasticity and condition of our skin by retaining water. Therefore, rosmarinic acid also has cosmetic applications. Pharmacological studies also suggest its possible use in the treatment of asthma, peptic ulcer disease and rheumatism. The recommended daily dose of the preparation is from 200 to 300 mg.

Conjugated linoleic acid, with a thickness not exceeding 10 mm

Conjugated linoleic acid, also known as CLA or linoleic acid, is one of the unsaturated fatty acids. Its natural source is milk fats and red meat. It is very often found in synthetic form, for example, as an ingredient in cholesterol medications. This compound has a health-promoting effect, as evidenced by scientific studies. These studies show a significant correlation between breast cancer in women and a low blood concentration of this compound. The compound improves the function of the immune system and promotes resistance to viruses and allergic reactions. However, the most recognized function of conjugated linoleic acid is its role in weight loss. CLA inhibits the action of an enzyme that allows fat to penetrate fat cells, leading to weight gain. In addition, it lowers blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides, which undoubtedly contribute to overweight. Due to this effect, the preparation can be recommended not only to people with a weight problem but also to athletes. The most common adverse reactions that may occur as a result of supplementation with conjugated linoleic acid are nausea, weakness, and dizziness. These adverse reactions may occur at a daily dose of 3,200 to 6,400 mg.

Tauroursodeoxycholic acid

It is an abbreviation for tauroursodeoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring compound in our body. It is a water-soluble bile acid that regulates liver function. In addition to its protective function, it is responsible for reducing the recovery time of this organ during periods of dysfunction. It also restricts the production of cholesterol by this organ and reduces its absorption in the intestines. Tauroursodeoxycholic acid also improves the function of β cells in people with type 1 diabetes. It is used as an auxiliary agent in the treatment of cholestasis, liver and gallbladder diseases.

Ursolic acid, also known as urson, prunol, or malol, is a phytochemical acid found in plants of the bivalent class, such as eucalyptus, fungi, magnolias, or carnations, with the highest concentration found in apple skin.

Ursolic acid has a wide range of valuable pharmacological properties, including antiseptic, analgesic, modulatory effects on the blood and immune system, and anti-muscle properties. Oncological studies have shown that ursolic acid has an anti-tumor effect by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. Furthermore, ursolic acid has been shown to have beneficial effects for athletes, as it has an anabolic effect on the body by retaining proteins in muscles and bones, reducing the size of fat cells, promoting muscle gain, and inducing thermogenic processes. The recommended human dose is 1.6 to 6.4 mg/kg.
