Pearl barley combined with apples and cinnamon truly constitutes an ideal solution for an autumn morning, thus it is worth giving this version of pearl barley a try. It is not only highly aromatic, but also abundant in soluble fiber, B vitamins, and omega-3 fatty acids.
Primary components
- 5 tablespoons of regular or mountain oat flakes (50 g), - 1 medium-sized apple (180 g), - 1 tablespoon of nuts (15 g), - 1 teaspoon of goji berries (4 g), - 1 tablespoon of raisins (15 g), - 1 cup of natural yogurt (200 g), - spices: cinnamon.
The procedure for preparation
Initially, we add oatmeal to a receptacle and pour boiling water over it until the level of the oats is reached. Subsequently, we wait for five minutes until the oats become tender, adding the remaining ingredients: natural yogurt, chopped apples (we sprinkle them with cinnamon), raisins, goji berries, and walnuts. Ready-made porridge!
