A liver disorder can also exhibit symptoms on the skin

Symptoms of liver disorders are typically generic and difficult to diagnose right away, making it hard for us to recognize the issue promptly. We usually do not pay them special attention until they become more critical. We frequently experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, constipation, or weight loss, but these are often not cause for concern as we do not attribute them any special significance. However, they can be early indicators of serious liver issues.

Signs of liver disease

The first stages of the dysfunction are general fatigue, lack of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain (especially on the right side) and weight loss. There is also swelling and problems with fat and alcohol tolerance. After some time as the disease progresses we may notice an increase in the circulation of the stomach due to hydrochloric acid.

Liver disease symptoms on the skin

A diseased skin is very often the first symptom of a diseased liver that we can see in ourselves. The skin starts to get cold and wet, and the surface starts to appear brownish or yellowish spots. We rarely see brown spots at the roots of the hair. More and more often, the subcutaneous blood vessels rupture, forming unsightly patches.
