The contents of a small 3w1 coffee capsule, opened with a quick pull, are placed at the bottom of the cup and then covered with 200 milliliters of boiling water. A quick stir of the liquid with a spoon and morning coffee with milk and sugar is ready.

Coffee soluble in diminutive sachets

Soluble coffee can be easily transported in small, portable pouches that are specifically tailored for one serving of beverage. It is a smart idea to avoid carrying large containers which take up additional space and add unnecessary grams to the luggage. On retail shelves, we can find three types of coffee soluble in single-use pouches. We can find simple brand granules, packed in smaller, easy-to-transport pouches (portion size approximately 2 g), coffee 2 in 1 in two versions: coffee with milk powder or coffee with sugar, and the most intricate version 3 in 1 coffee, which contains coffee, milk powder, and sugar. For larger enthusiasts, some brands also offer versions enriched with pieces of milk chocolate or chocolate powder (sweet cocoa).

Coffee soluble in packets - amount of caffeine

The caffeine content in soluble coffee is substantially lower than that of the traditional version of aromatic brewed coffee or espresso. Two servings of soluble coffee contain approximately the same amount of caffeine as one prepared from ground beans. When considering the caffeine content in coffees 2 in 1 and 3 in 1, the caffeine content is lower because the percentage of soluble coffee contained in one packet is reduced for sugar and cream. A packet of soluble coffee contains 100% soluble coffee, which is approximately 50-80g of caffeine. A packet of soluble coffee 2 in 1 contains 11% soluble coffee, which is approximately 6-9g of caffeine. A packet of soluble coffee 3 in 1 contains 10% soluble coffee, which is approximately 5-8g of caffeine.

Soluble coffee in raw sachets – composition of raw sachets 2w1 and 3w1

The first component of both coffee number 1 and coffee number 2 is sugar and/or glucose syrup. The next component is artificially hardened palm oil fat, which is the main ingredient of the hardened cream in powder form. Only at the third/fourth place does soluble coffee appear. Then stabilizers are used, which are artificial substances that prevent glare, excessive moisture or the unwanted development of microflora. Unfortunately, the list of ingredients does not end here. There are also milk proteins, salt, and artificial flavors present.
