Indian saffron is another name for a yellow, Indian spice. It is derived from long oyster bran, which, after being dried and given a spicy consistency, is used to give food a yellowish-orange colour. Turmeric has no characteristic flavor or aroma, which makes it possible to add it to both dessert and nutritious foods or beverages. The active and at the same time functioning natural ingredient of the oyster is curcumin.
