Exercise motivation... How to find the drive for workouts?

You're aware that regular physical activity benefits your health, that exercise enhances your well-being and physique, but after a long day, the couch seems irresistibly appealing. You'd prefer to sit down, turn on the TV, and eat something not entirely wholesome while watching your favorite shows. Does that sound familiar? If so, let's discover together how to choose exercise with a smile next time instead of lounging around.

It's a motivation to exercise

In the context of physical activity, this means that our motivation for exercise can be, for example, the desire to achieve a desired figure (material goal) or to improve one's mood (non-material goal). There are many different levels of division of activity. The article focuses on the division of motivation into two types: motivation and external perception.

How do you find motivation?

The authors of the motivation books encourage us to set a precise goal for each exercise we're going to do. They suggest that we start by imagining ourselves in a mature form and think about the benefits we'll get from taking and then regularly exercising. The best way to try is to prepare a plan of action, or in this case, a training plan. We don't have to specify the specific exercises we will do. But first, we need to figure out what kind of activity we plan to do, and how often we plan on doing it.
