Just a few years ago, the flour section in stores was largely limited to conventional grain-based products such as wheat, corn, and rye. Today, driven by the rising popularity of alternative diets and culinary innovations, shelves now also feature flours derived from legumes, nuts, and even fruit seeds. Among these, chickpea flour stands out as a product with a distinctive nutritional profile and broad applicability. What precisely sets this type of flour apart from other gluten-free alternatives as well as traditional grain-based flours?

This type of flour can also be made at home. Here are a few recipes. The recipe for our cupcake is to boil it on a dry pot to get its flavor. When it is ripe, grind it, for example, in a coffee grinder. Pour it through a small glass and put it in a tightly sealed container. The cupcake dough can be used in a variety of ways.
