Preparation steps

Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes.

Heat the butter in a saucepan.


Sauté the onion until translucent, stirring occasionally.


Add the frozen peas and sauté for 2 minutes.

Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a boil, and simmer for 5-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a second pan. Fry the fish fingers over medium heat according to the package instructions.

Remove the peas from the heat and roughly mash them in the cream using a potato masher.

Season the pea puree with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.

Serve the puree with the fish fingers on plates.
