Low Carb Chili Con Carne with Carrots

Low Carb Chili Con Carne with Carrots

Preparation steps

Heat a pan with a little butter/olive oil. Peel the onion, chop finely and add to the pan and fry lightly. Then add the meat straight away and fry as well.

Peel the garlic, chop finely and add it.

While the meat is frying, season it with marjoram, tarragon, oregano, paprika (sweet, if you like it spicy you should use hot paprika), salt and pepper.

Chop the tomatoes very finely and add them to the meat.

Then we add between 150ml - 300ml of water (depending on taste and personal preference) with the tomato paste.

Drain the beans through a sieve and add to the chili. Let the dish simmer gently for 5 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Finally, taste again and season to taste.
