1. The wild rose is a characteristic of the species

Rose is a very popular crop tree. Because of the appearance and smell of the flowers, it is cultivated virtually all over the world. The rose family is also valued for its medicinal properties. The wild rose (Rosa canina L.) is a thorny tree reaching a height of up to 3 meters. Its elliptical-shaped leaves are quite stiff and have toothed edges. Wild rose flowers are bright pink in color and grow singly or in small clusters. However, the most valuable part of the rose is its fruit.

2. The wild rose has nutritional properties

The wild rose fruit is one of the best natural sources of vitamin C. However, some species may contain up to 12% L-acid, depending on the species, the variety, the harvest date, and the type of technological processes used in processing. Most vitamin C fruits are raw, but due to their impermanence they are used relatively rarely. Much more popular are single-dried wild rose fruits. Some species can contain as much as 12% of L-aside, but on average they also contain about 12% of magnesium acid.

3. Wild rose health and use

Because of the very high levels of ascorbic acid in wild roses, the fruits of the wild rose are primarily attributed to strengthening the functioning of the immune system. They also stimulate and prevent the occurrence of colds and flu. It is important to remember this, especially during the autumn-winter period, when our immunity is decreasing and we are particularly vulnerable to the attack of viruses and bacteria. However, wild rose fruit also supports the work of the circulatory system.

4. The wild rose is the recipe for deliveries

Nowadays, few people make wild roses in their kitchen. Far more popular are ready-made products bought in stores and pharmacies. However, it's worth remembering that, in addition to wild rose fruit, prepared foods often have many other artificial additives in their composition that negatively affect the quality of products. Preparing wild rose products is time-consuming and aimed at people who are patient.

5. It's a scented wild rose syrup

Ingredients: 500 g of wild rose fruit, purified with seeds, 250 g of xylitol, ?? half lemon juice, 5 cassava, 2 grains of English green, 1 litre of boiled water. The purified fruit is cooked to softness in water with raisins and English herb. When lightly cooked, the juice must be transferred to another cassave using the syrup. The fruits kept in the cassaver are rubbed in water, without forgetting about the earlier removal of the root cassaves. The process is thoroughly mixed with the water in which they were cooked.

6. Sweet jam made of wild rose petals

The ingredients: 250 g of wild rose petals, 350 g of white sugar, 1 glass of water, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, a couple of spoons of spirit juice. To make a jam out of a rose petal is definitely more time-consuming than making a syrup. However, its taste is amazing, so if we have time and fresh wild rose peppers, let's not hesitate! At the very beginning, we have to remove the white pepper petals from our leaves, which are inexhaustible and can spoil the flavor of the juice.
