Not exactly. What is overtraining and what are its symptoms? But is it just for professional athletes? Exercises can be experienced by both amateur and performance athletes. Chronic fatigue, lack of energy, stagnation in training, sleep disturbances.

1. What is muscle overtraining and what are its causes?

The most common causes of overtraining are: too much training intensity, inadequate time spent on the body's regenerative processes, problems with work and personal life, a high amount of stress, ?? neglect of the first symptoms of fatigue, excessively high expectations from coaches and/or family members, monotony in training, problems with managing stress, participation in numerous sporting events (S. Dobiecz, 2017).

2. What to do to avoid overtraining

In order to avoid overtraining, you should: individual exercise intensity, take care of proper recovery; do not neglect the first symptoms of fatigue; if necessary, spend an extra day resting; perform regular tests; and in case of decline in fitness and ability, consult your health doctor; maintain a properly balanced diet with adequate calorie intake; ensure adequate time and quality of sleep; learn to cope with the stress associated with starting and exercising alone.
